MOST INFLUENTIAL IMAGES OF ALL TIME

Muhammad Ali Vs. Sonny Liston

Neil Leifer was the one that took this photo in 1965. Muhammad Ali squared off against 34-year-old Sonny Liston, the man he’d snatched the title from the previous year. One minute and 44 seconds into the first round, Ali’s right fist connected with Liston’s chin and Liston went down. I picked this photo because I will always remember this photo even though I wasn’t born to see it, but I will always remember this fight.

Pillars Of Creation, Nasa, 1995

The Hubble space telescope is what took this amazing photo. Finally, on April 1, 1995, the telescope delivered the goods, capturing an image of the universe so clear and deep that it has come to be known as Pillars of Creation. What Hubble photographed is the Eagle Nebula, a star-forming patch of space 6,500 light-years from Earth in the constellation Serpens Cauda. I picked this picture because the texture it brings and the nice calming colors.

Earthrise, William Anders, NASA, 1968

It was taken by William Anders. It was on December 24, 1968, exactly 75 hours, 48 minutes and 41 seconds after the Apollo 8 spacecraft lifted off from Cape Canaveral a route to becoming the first manned mission to orbit the moon. They loved this picture when they took it, they couldn’t believe it. They were all excited. I chose this photo because of how the earth is coming up and looks nice because of how the earth is coming up which makes it look cool.

Travel Poster

I would like to travel to Dubai because I heard it’s a very nice place to go and to take lots of pictures. I would go either with a group of friends or with my family. Also, Dubai is a great place to visit and explore this nice place. There are lights everywhere and many stores to walk around and look at what they have. When I go, I will get someone to have a tour all around Dubai and learn about Dubai and try different foods they have, and I will by many things for memories.

White Balance

White balance refers to the process of removing or neutralizing color casts in your images – because at its core, white balance is about ensuring the colors in your photograph appear as they do in real life. Since photographers often want to produce images that look natural, white balancing involves carefully adjusting your camera settings or editing tools to counteract these color casts. It’s about taking an image like this, full of distorted, too-blue colors. White balance is important because they prevent you from capturing accuratetrue colors in a scene. Most cameras allow you to adjust your white balance settings before ever taking a photo. For instance, you can select a white balance preset (such as Tungsten, Flash, Cloudy, etc.), which allows your camera to roughly understand and compensate for the lighting conditions.

Simply pull up you’re in-camera white balance menu. You should see several presets, such as:

  • Sunny, which works for mid-morning and mid-afternoon sun.
  • Shade, which works for scenarios with heavy shade (e.g., portraits under a tree)
  • Cloudy, which works for outdoor scenes featuring overcast lighting.
  • Flash, which works for scenes lit by standard off-camera speedlights and pop-up flashes.
  • Incandescent, which works for indoor scenes lit by standard warm bulbs.
  • Fluorescent, which works for indoor scenes lit by fluorescent bulbs.

Motion And Action

What I learned about motion blur is that motion blur is to have blur for an artistic impact. Too catch motion blur something/someone must be moving quickly. This will create the object to be blurry ad the background to be nice and clear. The settings you’ll need your camera to be in is first, it should be in a shutter priority mode. This helps you by controlling the most important thing called shutter speed. This is a fun and easy part of photography.

What I learned about action in photography is that they are photos you take when someone is moving. To take fast action photos you need to use long lens for better shots. Don’t go out to long because it’ll make the photo look way better,

Action

I think this is in shutter priority, f/6, with a 14.00mm

Motion Blur

I think this it was in shutter priority, 1/2 sec, f/5.5,

Shadows

Focal Length 41.00 mm, 1/1000 sec, F/5.0, ISO 400, Manual

Focal Length 47.00 mm, 1/4000 sec, F/5.6, ISO 400, Manual

I chose this picture because it shows very good shadows. The tree is very nice and there are not many leaves that would make the picture less interesting. This picture is interesting because of the details there are less leaves which makes it better looking because you can see through the tree from the branches. The branches make the picture interesting because it makes lines in the shadow. I see the grass its nice because it’s mixed with Leafs and the farther it goes it’s just nice and green. Another thing that is interesting is the background there is more trees. The sky Aswell its nice and blue. This is why I chose this picture from the interment.
